Dallas Inches Closer to Conference Finals
SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (December 6, 2023) - In a dominating performance, the Dallas Mavericks crushed the Utah Jazz 147-97 at Vivint Arena on Tuesday night. Despite the absence of their star player Luka Dončić, the Mavericks were led by the impressive play of Jalen Brunson.
Brunson poured in a game-high 32 points, leading a balanced scoring attack for Dallas. Christian Wood added 26 points, while Tim Hardaway Jr. contributed 20. The Mavericks shot an impressive 56% from the field and 42% from three-point range.
The Jazz, on the other hand, struggled to keep pace with the hot-shooting Mavericks. Donovan Mitchell led Utah with 21 points, but the rest of the team combined for just 76 points. The Jazz shot a dismal 34% from the field and 27% from behind the arc.
The Mavericks are now just one win away from advancing to the Western Conference Finals. They will have the chance to close out the series on Thursday night at home.
